ニュースで知った民事再生
数年前、私の近所のスーパーが民事再生しました。それを知ったのが、テレビのニュースでした。とても大きなスーパーで全国にあちこちお店のあるところだったので、びっくりしたことを覚えています。そんな中、ある日そのスーパーへ買い物に行ったんですが、いつもならいっぱいいるお客さんが嘘のようにガラガラ。この間までいたお客さんはどこへいったのやら？といった感じ。民事再生は信頼の失墜になるんだとその時肌で感じた事を覚えています。当時、同じサービス業で働いていた私には人事とは思えなかったんです。そのスーパーに入っているテナントさんにとっても死活問題でそれでもやっていこうと覚悟を決めたみたいで「こんな風になってしまったけど、負けないで頑張りますからまた来てくださいね」と言っていたことも印象深かったです。しばらくして、またまたニュースでそのスーパーの各地の閉店情報を知り、自分の近所のお店が対象になっていなくてホッとしました。今、そのスーパーはどうなっているか？といいますと順調なようであの時の客数が嘘のように賑わっています。きっと、あの時に民事再生をしたことがスーパーにとっては間違っていない選択だったのだと思います。
